SanMar has always fostered a welcoming environment where employees are free to be themselves.

We encourage employees from across the company to participate in interest groups, community advocacy and learning opportunities to build awareness, as a pathway to employee well-being and business success.

Global Connections

SanMar started the Global Connections program in 2024 as a way for employees to connect with the people who make our products and contribute directly to their community. Employees chosen for the inaugural trip went to Honduras, where they immersed themselves in local culture for five days. 

This is an ongoing program at SanMar—participants for the 2025 trip have already been chosen.

Employee Feedback

We conduct periodic surveys of SanMar employees to better understand what SanMar is doing well and where we have opportunity to improve. The valuable feedback received informs future initiatives.

Employee Training and Awareness

We celebrate unique traditions and identities with videos, interactive workshops and educational presentations, curated through our Training and Development team. These focus on topics like Hispanic Heritage Month, Black History Month and Pride. Employees are also invited to hear from outside experts in our Insights presentation series.

In 2024 we hosted a Veterans Day panel featuring several SanMar employees who are military veterans. They shared stories about serving in the military and their transition to civilian life, as well as how their unique perspective adds value to teams.

The SanMar Marketing team has worked steadily to improve the representation of people of color, persons with disabilities and all body types in the images and video SanMar uses in its printed product catalogs and online.
